Help

RiskRight help hub

Start here when you need to understand a page, complete a common workflow, or get the right support contact.

First Time Users

Start with these steps to get from a new workspace to the first useful risk action.

When something looks wrong

Capture the page URL, the company workspace, what you expected, what actually happened and any yellow or red error message. Send that to support so the issue can be reproduced quickly.

Page Guides

Dashboard

LiteProEnterprise

Review the ranked risk list, open risk details, watch important risks and assign or notify departments.

  • Open the highest priority risk first.
  • Check confidence and cited sources before acting.
  • Use Assign/Notify for team follow-up.
More detail

Risks are ranked by severity, company relevance, likely operational impact and available source support.

Lite shows the top 5 visible risks. Pro shows the top 10; Enterprise shows the top 20 with daily refresh, digest and priority alerts.

The dashboard is generated from the saved company profile, so profile accuracy affects every risk shown.

Open Dashboard

Risk detail

LiteProEnterprise

Read the risk explanation, source evidence, estimated impact and recommended next steps.

  • Use Watch risk for priority risks that need ongoing scanning.
  • Use Assign when a team must complete work.
  • Use Notify when the message is FYI only.
More detail

The detail view explains why RiskRight thinks the signal matters to this company and its supply chain.

Confidence should be read together with the cited sources: stronger, direct sources should carry more weight.

Watch risk is available on Pro and Enterprise; Enterprise can also post the current risk context to Teams.

Global risk map

LiteProEnterprise

Review geographic concentration of supplier, logistics, weather and economic exposure with severity and category filters.

  • Use the map to spot concentrated regional exposure first.
  • Filter by category or severity before operational reviews.
  • Open the linked risk detail from the map when a hotspot needs action.
More detail

The global risk map page is visible to every plan so Lite users can preview it.

The interactive map is included on Pro and Enterprise.

It complements the ranked dashboard by showing where exposure is clustered geographically.

Enterprise adds Teams posting and faster 15-minute Risk Watch cadence, not exclusive access to the map itself.

Actions

ProEnterprise

Track assigned department actions that remain open until a recipient marks them complete.

  • Review overdue items first.
  • Reassign if ownership changes.
  • Close actions only when the department response is complete.
More detail

Only assigned actions appear here. FYI notifications do not create open work.

A department action closes when any one recipient for that department marks it complete.

Due dates are calculated from the severity due-target settings saved in Settings.

Open Actions

Company

LiteProEnterprise

Set or refresh the company profile RiskRight uses to generate company-specific risks.

  • Confirm locations, outputs, inputs and supplier regions.
  • Save only when the profile matches the right company.
  • Changing company clears old risk recommendations.
More detail

The company profile defines what RiskRight treats as relevant: sites, outputs, inputs, brands and supplier regions.

Risk generation uses this profile to infer likely exposure, then ranks external risk signals against it.

Saving a changed profile replaces the risk set because the monitoring scope has changed.

Open Company

Settings

LiteProEnterprise

Manage action due dates, alert defaults, install options, plan links and support routes.

  • Set severity-based due targets.
  • Use Team for recipients, digest routing and Teams webhooks.
  • Use Account for paid user and billing controls.
More detail

Settings controls workflow defaults rather than people management.

Due targets convert risk severity into expected completion dates for assigned work.

Team and Account each own their own surfaces to avoid duplicate controls.

Open Settings

Team

LiteProEnterprise

Manage notification-only recipients, paid users, departments, weekly digest routing and Teams webhooks.

  • Add any email recipient as notification-only.
  • Mark people as paid users when they need to open RiskRight or act through licensed workflows.
  • Assign each person to one department for action routing.
More detail

Notification-only recipients can receive email alerts without consuming a paid user seat.

Paid users can open RiskRight links, complete actions and use licensed workflows.

This keeps licensing flexible: recipients can start with email alerts, then move to paid access when they need to open RiskRight or complete work.

Open Team

Teams integration

Enterprise

Connect department Teams channels so assigned risks and FYI notifications can post as Adaptive Cards.

  • Create a Teams workflow with a webhook trigger.
  • Paste the webhook URL into the matching department in Team.
  • Use Test webhook before sending live risk cards.
More detail

Teams posting is Enterprise-only and is controlled per department.

RiskRight sends the risk title, severity, category, planning action, super-user comment and risk link to the configured workflow.

If a department has no webhook, RiskRight can still send email recipients and will skip Teams for that department.

Open Teams integration

Account

LiteProEnterprise

Update identity, manage paid users, open billing and review workspace access.

  • Keep the super user account current.
  • Manage paid user count from Account.
  • Use billing only after a paid plan is active.
More detail

The account page separates identity and workspace access from risk workflow settings.

Paid user count is managed in RiskRight, while Stripe handles payment method and cancellation.

Workspace role determines who can change company setup, settings, billing and department workflows.

Common Tasks

Set up a new company

LiteProEnterprise

Create or sign in to the workspace, enter the company name and location, review the inferred profile, then save it to publish the first dashboard.

More information

Use the Company page to confirm RiskRight has found the right organisation before publishing risks.

Check locations, outputs, inputs and supplier regions because they drive the relevance scoring.

Changing the company later regenerates the risk set and replaces old recommendations.

Open Company

Send work to a department

ProEnterprise

Add people to Team, open a risk, choose Assign/Notify, select departments, then choose Assign if completion is required or Notify if it is only an FYI.

More information

Assign creates an open action and appears on the Actions page until a department recipient marks it complete.

Notify sends the current risk context as an FYI and does not create completion work.

Recipients are selected by department from the Team page.

Open Dashboard

Post a risk to Teams

Enterprise

Add a department webhook in Team, test it, then open a risk, choose Assign/Notify, select that department and leave Post to Teams enabled.

More information

Teams posting is configured per department using a Power Automate or Teams workflow webhook.

Test the webhook from Team before sending live risk cards.

Enterprise users can then post assigned actions or FYI risk cards into the selected department channel.

Open Team

Invite someone without paying yet

LiteProEnterprise

Add them in Team as notification-only. They can receive email risk alerts without a paid seat; change them to paid access when they need to open RiskRight or interact through licensed workflows.

More information

Notification-only recipients receive email alerts but do not consume a paid seat.

Mark them as paid users when they need to open RiskRight links, receive the weekly digest or complete actions.

The Team page shows the license impact before you save.

Open Team

Control who receives actions

ProEnterprise

Go to Team, add recipient rows, choose departments, select digest recipients and save the team.

More information

Each person belongs to a department, and Assign/Notify uses those departments for routing.

Weekly digest is only available to paid users on Pro or Enterprise.

Department ownership can be changed without changing billing unless the person is marked as a paid user.

Open Team

Understand confidence

LiteProEnterprise

Confidence reflects how strongly the cited sources support the risk and how directly the risk applies to the company profile. Review sources before relying on a recommendation.

More information

Open the risk detail page to read the source evidence and estimated impact.

Higher confidence means stronger evidence and stronger fit to the saved company profile.

Use confidence alongside severity; a lower-confidence critical risk may still be worth assigning if the impact is high.

Contact Routes

Use the contact route that matches the work. Support requests should receive an auto-reply and a follow-up within 24 hours once the mailbox rule is configured.
